JUST FOR FUN!!!

When a woman is walking on the sandy beach she stumpled upon something. As she looks , she sees that it's an old lamp. She starts to scrub the lamp and a jin appears and says :

-You can wish only 1 thing, so please think well!

Woman doesn't think even 1 minute and get a map from her pocket and says :

-I wish peace in Middle East. Do you see all these countries in this map? I wish they stop making war among each other and make peace with one another!

Jin looks at the map and says :

- For God's sake! These countries have been fighting for 1000 years. Ok i know that i'm good at my job but not this much! I don't think that i can do that...Wish something else.

The woman thought about it for a couple of minutes and :

-Ok, i couldn't find the right man for me whole of my life. That's why i wish a man who is very intelligent, thoughtful, not only charismatic but also funny, not a football fanatic or unfaitful and never cheat on me!

Jin sighs and says :

-Ok Ok! Shut up and give me that damned map!

How Can The Economic Crisis Suddenly Affect To The Whole World ?

As you know in recent days we, all countries, especially European countries, have a big, maybe the biggest economic crise from the developed countries to developing countries. Whenever we watch the news on tv, we listen to the crisis in everywhere. One of the biggest bank of U.S.A.went to Bankrupcty ( e.x. Lether Brothers)and so many big banks which are in a diffucult situation ( e.x.city bank..) will go to Bankrupcty.

I am sure you know that Opel, Ford, Volvo which are so big Automobil Companies, are in a diffucult situation. Some of them survive with the help of goverment, but it is not enought for releasing, i think. About 2 months ago i woke up and read the newspaper which was written The lether Brothers went to Bankruptcy, immediately following the big economic problems had began and still going on. Although Turkey is a developing country, it hasn’t affected us as much as other countries , but we can not say that Turkey is in a bright situation, because it isn't.

Many Companies had to stop the Production for 3 months, some of them dismissed many employees. The banks dismissed employees as well or borrowed by Goverment.( e.x.Akbank). Dollar and Euro keep on inceasing. Every day is one more company is closed. The number of unemployed people is inceasing. The Credit payments can not be paid. The Economists say that 2009 will be worse. I can't understand how the Economy can change suddenly in a short time as 2 months. I only hope everything will be positive in short time.

Ladies and Gentlemen this is another post of Nevruz who i mentioned before... As you see she's so eager to write in this blog and she is expected to be another Turkish writer of this multinational Blog (even Ypokeimenikos' majority is Greek, we love to blogging here:)

2,7 ΕΚΑΤΟΜΜΥΡΙΑ ΖΗΜΙΑ ΑΠΟ Ο.Σ.Ε. ΚΑΙ ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΗ..

"H Ολυμπιακή και ο ΟΣΕ επιβαρύνουν τον Έλληνα φορολογούμενο με 2,7 εκατ. ευρώ ημερησίως. Είναι κρίμα να πηγαίνουν χαμένα τόσα χρήματα και να μην περνάνε σε συμπολίτες μας που το έχουν ανάγκη."
Δήλωσε ο Πρωθυπουργός μετά τη σημερινή του επίσκεψη στο Υπουργείο Μεταφορών.

Δηλαδή τι θες να μας πεις ρε Πρωθυπουργάρα;
Ή μήπως θες να δικιολογήσεις τις αποκρατικοποιήσεις;
Και γιατί επικαλείσαι τους συμπολίτες μας που έχουν ανάγκη;
Από Κρατικές Εταιρίες Μεταφορών με φθηνά εισιτήρια δεν έχουν ανάγκη;
Εγώ λέω να βάλεις το Ρουσόπουλο να πουλήσει τις 3 βίλλες που έχτισε και να μοιράσει τα λεφτά στους συμπολίτες μας που έχουν ανάγκη.

WHY I CAN'T COME TO GREECE?

You know sometimes when you want something very much, it doesn't happen. That's what i experienced last week.

As a person who adores Greek tradition, Greek people, Greek things ; i decided to visit Athens in my 9 days vacation (from 6th till 14th of December) and also would like to meet the rest of our bloggers. I was determined to spend my vacation there with joy and happiness and i had many many plans to do there. Drinking Uozo, listening to Greek music with bouzouki and saying "yamas", dancing sirtaki, e.t.c...

Anyway, i renewed my passport, picked all the documents which are needed to present to the Greek Embassy in Istanbul and at 6 o'clock in the morning i stood in front of the embassy for 3 hours. There were nearly 80 people in the queue waiting for visa. It was heavily raining and quite cold. ( I still get crazy when that day comes my mind)

I gave my papers, paid my visa fee and turned back to the office. Both Angelos and i were hoping that i would get the visa. On Thursday i went again and waited a lot. Guess what happened? They rejected many people giving visa and i was one of those people who could not get it. I couldn't believe!!! I asked " May i know the reason why not getting visa?" The answer from Greek guy was "well...because of system" And i said " Which system, what's that system that doesn't let me come there?" The answer from the guy " Have a nice day Madam" ...

Seemingly polite but he was rather rude and very pleased with not letting me to come there.

I could not believe my situation!

I am sorry guys but i'm still very very angry and sorry for all these. Everything was ready,my flight,my hotel reservation, my bank accounts. I couldn't find any reason why they didn't accept it. And there's no explanation for that.

All i know is maybe we have a good relation person to person but when it comes to majority we'll never success to be good.

A huge disappointment! Nothing else...

ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ..

Ήρθε επιτέλους η σύνδεση του Ίντερνετ. Γράφω επιτέλους ανάρτηση μετά από πολύ καιρό ψευτο-σερφαρίσματος σε φίλους.
Τον καιρό που πέρασε βέβαια έγιναν πράγματα που με στενοχώρησαν. Αναφέρομαι πάντα στο χώρο των ιστολογίων. Ο γνωστός βλαμμένος (διαφήμιση με λινκ δε σου ξανακάνω) με τα γνωστά του κιτρινόμαυρα αισθήματα άρχισε πάλι να γράφει για την Πόλη και την ανωτερότητα των ομοϊδεατών του και τα "καφενεία του Πειραιά". Όταν βέβαια εγώ του απάντησα ξεκίνησε την επίθεση και μάλιστα σε προσωπικό επίπεδο.

Εκεί -και πριν απαντήσω- επενέβησαν οι admins του blog, πώς αλλιώς;
Μη επιτρέποντας την ανάρτηση άλλων σχολίων. Και βέβαια όταν προσπάθησα ν' αφήσω σχόλιο στην κεντρική σελίδα (κάπως έπρεπε ν' απαντήσω γιατί η επίθεση ήταν επί προσωπικού) φρόντισαν, με επιδέξιο τρόπο οφείλω να παραδεχτώ, να το εξαφανίσουν.
Κρίμα, γιατί νόμιζα πως με τα παιδιά είχα μία καλύτερη σχέση.

Και κάτι τελευταίο..
Επειδή το συγκεκριμένο χώρο δεν τον πληρώνουμε, δεν μου/ σου ανήκει.
Ανήκει σε όλους τους αναγνώστες. Δεδομένου ότι δεν καταστρέφω τίποτα και γράφω τ' όνομά μου είναι αν μη τι άλλο φασιστικό να κάνεις τις πλάτες μονόπλευρα και να μην αφήνεις όλες τις απόψεις ν' ακουστούν.

ό μόνος κανόνας εδώ είναι οτι κάθε άποψη γίνεται σεβαστή . - Αυτό να λέγεται..

This is a post which was sent by a friend of mine from university who is very willing to write in our blog and who loves reading blogs. She asked me if i could send this post to ypokeimenikos and publish it for her. I appreciated her interest to our blog and decided to publish her news about Turkey.

WATER TAXI-MORE THAN JUST A BOAT TRIP

Have you ever heard the name of the Water Taxi? Surely you easly can understand what it means from its name.So many countries in the World are not stranger to the Water Taxis which are used in a big part of the World.

At last The Water Taxi has began in Istanbul as well. You know in most populated and crowded cities traffic is a burden and Istanbul is one of them who suffers from traffic jam regarding 17 million people living in Istanbul.The Istanbul Seabuses Coorparation has introduced water taxis as a measure to ease of the traffic burden in Turkey's most populated city.I hope that Water

Taxis will help to people who live in Istanbul and are bored with the traffic burden everyday. Recently in Istanbul there are just 4 Water Taxis, to which will be added more 21 Water Taxis the end of the 2009 year.

I haven't got on the Water Taxis yet, but heard so many times from people who get on The Water Taxis. As a person living in Istanbul, i am so pleased with the utilization of Water Taxis, because it will effect relieving the trasportation of our megacity.

P.S.: I also would like to publish a photo of Nevruz because i know that she's very excited and i want to introduce her to our readers due to being it her first professional blogging post.
