FAMILY ERDOGAN :)

A few months ago the prestigious Prime Minister of Turkey, Mr. Tayyip Erdogan, made an announcement as ; " I want parents to reproduce and duplicate the population, that's why mothers should give birth at least 3 children"...

We thought that he was just joking. Because he doesn't increase wages of retired people or employees...Then how can he expect people to give birth children and feed them?

I found this cover paper from a very famous caricature magazine...The caricaturists draw mr. Erdogan with an ironic way in a large family as you see above...

Ohhhh...sorry, I didn't realize that there are many writers for this blogggg. :-)))) Interesting article and funny caricature!!! It's true that raising children costs a lot of money...not just money, but time and effort.

Hi Burcu

What type of guy is this Erdogan guy anyway?

Is he a modern leader or is he a very conservative and old fashion type of politician?

I'm asking you because i've heard both notions and i'm wondering which is the right one.

PS. The multinationality of this blog, makes it really unique. Congratulations!

Hi Teddyboy!

Well...He's a kind of minister president who tries to act like he's modern but he strictly defends his conservative thoughts and reflects it in very wrong way!
Many people voted for him because they were expecting him to serve his country in best way...But all he's done is forbidding alcohol in a few areas, let the female students into universities, who has TURBAN (a head cover )on their small brains, spending government's money for islamic activities, regions and groups in a very clear way e.t.c....
I'M a laic person who loves her country and republic and Ataturk...

In next selections, i hope we won't live the same things again.
