A MISHAP

It's not uncommon for people to fall asleep on trains, but snoring loudly in public is another matter. One day recently, a friend of mine was reading his newspaper on the train, when he became aware of a loud snoring sound coming from the man opposite of him. As the train came into the last station on the line, he gave the man a sharp poke with his umbrella to wake him up. Instead of being grateful, he looked at him furiously. He wasn't asleep at all. The snoring came from the enormous dog who was lying at his feet:)
